Broadway House private members’ club is situated in the heart of Fulham Broadway and opened early August 2009. Designed by Brenhan Magee with the Design Corporation architects, the reopening of the site has seen this impressive townhouse returned to its original glory, blending the sophisticated with the contemporary to create an elegant and relaxed space.
The Members Lounge, situated on the second floor, offers home-from-home comfort complete with all the modern conveniences one might expect to find in a state of the art lounge. The room’s primary purpose is to act as the Broadway’s lounge room accommodating up to 100+ seated guests at an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The Members lounge also boasts an outdoor terrace and lounge which is perfect for relaxation purposes throughout the hot summer nights.
Brassa, located on the first floor is a luxury Grill Restaurant which takes great pride in using only the finest organic and seasonal local ingredients.
The ‘Groundfloor’ is open to the general public. Dressed by Tara Bernard, the basement cellars are designed for unadulterated celebration, where dancing on the sofa’s is advocated. A specially commissioned responsive light installation by United Visual Artists behind the DJ booth makes it the focal point of the room.
The walls are hung with an extensive collection of contemporary artworks from Fiona Rae, George Condo, Julian Opie, Gary Hume and Sir Anthony Hodgkins to name a few. The first floor restaurant is also dominated by a dramatic six metre long painting by Howard Hodgkin, “As time goes by”.
