This magnificent Victorian Grade II*-listed building, was restored to its former glory following the completion of a major refurbishment in 2006. The venue’s programme is once again buzzing with big-name performers, harking back to the days when the likes of Jimi Hendrix and The Doors graced the stage. The centrepiece Main Space, which once housed the train turntable that gave the venue its name, makes a stunning backdrop for large receptions, conferences and dinners. There are also a number of smaller spaces for 20 to 200 people. All of the income generated by corporate and private events goes directly towards the venue’s charity programme, supporting 11 to 25-year-old youths.
