Clairol Nice and Easy Launch 2020

  • Brief

To find a venue for the launch of Clairol’s new Nice and Easy range with Stacey Dooley in a safe, socially distanced way. Typically, these launches involve press and influencers being invited to a venue, to meet the face of the product and have Q&A sessions throughout the day.  Due to the current climate, in this case the basics of the event were the same, however we had to deliver it as a hybrid event, to ensure it met all the regulations.

  • Delivery

We sourced the well-known members club Mortimer House and their 6th floor events space the Loft and Gallery. This is the perfect space for events in general but especially for the restrictions that are now in place.  The space can be split into two and has a small terrace attached to provide an outside space. This venue works extremely well for launch events due to the natural light and views over the West End. Production was done as usual for these launches by the talented Tor Cooper Evans with Invisible Blue. In this case it was a minimalist simple set up but to work again with our regular suppliers felt almost ‘normal’.

Catering was minimal again due the ‘new normal’ but anything that we needed or requested was not a problem as they have an onsite restaurant.

As we needed to ensure this was delivered seamlessly to their virtual audience, we partnered with our AV supplier Lightwave productions, who provided all the necessary technical production including all streaming aspects. The client was then provided with a link to give to guests. The link works in any web browser and on any device. No software or installation of anything required so anyone in essence was able to log in.
