The long wait is over, we can now reveal some exciting details about what lies within this magnificent building. The Shard is the tallest building in Western Europe and offers World class dining, hotels and views like no other. See below for all the up to date information on event spaces available to hire.

 

THE VIEW FROM THE SHARD
Level 68-72

The View from the Shard opened in February 2013 as a visitor attraction. The View is situated at the top of The Shard, on floors 68, 69 and 72, and is almost twice the height of any other viewing platform in London. For the best view in town, guests can ascend to Level 72, at 244m, the highest public level of The Shard. You’ll be exposed to the elements with sounds of the city around you. Looking up, you’ll see the shards of glass that form the top of this skyscraper as they disappear upwards into the sky.

Maximum capacity: 200 standing

SHANGRI-LA HOTEL & SPA
Level 34-52

Shangri-La Hotel will be opening in September featuring three event spaces available for hire situated on the 34th floor. The unique function space will feature river-facing venues with stunning views, natural daylight and state of the art technology. This will be Shangri-La’s first UK hotel, and nothing in London will come close to offering the experience of staying in The Shard.

Level 34:
Thames ballroom: 110 dinner, 140 theatre style, 60 cabaret, 200 standing. London Bridge Room: 30 dinner, 60 theatre style, 15 cabaret, 60 standing.
Tower Bridge Room: 10 dinner

AQUA SHARD & HUTONG
Level 31 and 33

This Summer Aqua will be launching two brand new restaurant concepts for London, both of these spaces together will have a combined capacity of 700 people standing and are linked together by a magnificent three-storey atrium bar.

The restaurants will feature very different styles of cuisine, Level 31- Aqua Shard, will feature innovative British contemporary cuisine, combining classic British ingredients with inventive international cooking techniques. The owner David Yeo and executive chef Anthony Garlando, who previously worked with Pierre Gagnaire and launched several of his acclaimed restaurants around the world, will work together to create this unique dining experience within the Shard. The restaurant space itself will be split into two sections giving maximum viewing opportunities for guests, and the interior will blend traditional British design against the sleek stunning floor-to-ceiling view’s on offer.

The cuisine on level 33 at Hutong will be contemporary Northern Chinese, based on one of the world’s leading Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong. Aqua restaurant group’s head chef for Chinese cuisine has developed an eclectic inspired menu from the Sichuan, Shangai and Shandong provinces together with traditional peking dishes.

Level 31 is Aqua Shard featuring experiential British cuisine: 200 seated, 360 standing. Private section of the restaurant: 100 seated, 200 standing
Level 33 is Hutong, contemporary Northern Chinese and will accommodate : 100 seated, 340 standing
Combined capacity: 360 seated, 700 standing
